I have bad credit; will this just be a waste of time to even apply?
Qualification guidelines are constantly changing. VA home loans allow for lower credit scores and have different approval guidelines. Even is you have been turned down before you may qualify with a VA loan.
What if my credit score is not good?
VA loans take many things into consideration when granting approval. They accept far lower scores that other bank programs.
Can I purchase any home after I have been approved?
There is no requirement to purchase anything from Helping Hands Community Partners. You approval will be subject to the property that YOU choose.
Do I have to process my loan with any specific lender?
NO. If you would prefer to work with any lender, Helping Hands Community Partners will continue to work with you to get you into your Dream House.
Is my information confidential?
Helping Hands Community Partners will never release any information regarding our clients for any purposes. We do not release information to anyone outside our organization for the purposes of advertising or solicitation. Please see the People’s United Bank website regarding their privacy rules.
What is Helping Hands Community Partners?
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation chartered with the mission of acquiring, rehabilitating and selling homes from financial institutions to VETERANS, the elderly and low to moderate income citizens.
